Third Age 2941 (abbreviated to T.A. 2941) is the 2941st year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2941 was also known as S.R. 1341 in Shire-reckoning.

- Gandalf visits Bag End but Bilbo Baggins is missing. He talks with Holman Greenhand and realises Bilbo is the right person for the Quest for Erebor.[1]
- Thorin and Gandalf visit Bilbo in the Shire.[2]
- Bilbo meets Sméagol/Gollum and finds the One Ring.[2]
- The White Council meets.[2]
- Saruman agrees to an Attack on Dol Guldur, since he now wishes to prevent Sauron from searching the Anduin.[2]
- Sauron having made his plans abandons Dol Guldur.[2]
- Bard of Esgaroth slays Smaug.[2]
- The Battle of Five Armies in Dale.[2]
- Death of Thorin Oakenshield, Fíli, and Kíli.[2]
- Death of Bolg.[3]
- Dáin II Ironfoot of the Iron Hills becomes King under the Mountain.[2]
- Birth of Tolman Cotton, first child and son of Holman Cotton.[4]
