Third Age 3004 (abbreviated to T.A. 3004) is the 3004th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 3004 was also known as S.R. 1404 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Gandalf visits Frodo in the Shire, and does so at intervals during the next four years.[1]
- Death of Gerda Boffin.[2]
