Tindómiel was the second child, and only daughter, of Elros Tar-Minyatur, the first King of Númenor. Almost nothing is known about her life.[1]
Etymology
Her name means "Morning Star" in Quenya (an assimilation of tindómë = "twilight of dawn" and el = "star").
It can also be taken as "daughter of twilight", with -iel being a feminine suffix. In that case, it is a cognate of Tinúviel
