Hi! I'm Ancalagon. Not the dragon, the user. I mainly use Tolkien Gateway as an information platform, and I don't make big edits, mainly just cleanup, redirects, and grammatical edits. If you see me doing something wrong, please do not hesitate to tell me on my talk page.
About Me
I was first introduced to Tolkien's Legendarium in September of 2019, when my friend invited me to come over and watch the The Lord of the Rings. Since then, I've done extensive research about Arda, discovering Tolkien Gateway in August of 2020 and making this account in October of 2020 (October 4th, to be exact).
Favorites
- Favorite Character: Maedhros. I believe that this character is more than a murderous kinslayer, and I honestly think his story is quite a sad one. If you have a different opinion, please keep your thoughts to yourself, I don't want to get into an argument.
- Favorite Race: Elves. I especially love the Noldor.
- Favorite Location: Gondolin.
- Favorite Age: First Age.
- Favorite Book: The Silmarillion.
- Favorite Film: The Return of the King (extended edition).
