I'm interested in this list as well. I'm particularly interested in fixing non-canonical information on Arda's geography that may have crept into Tolkien Gateway or elsewhere (I'm a new user here, and I've started my work by mainly focusing on cleaning up any inaccuracies in the geographic locations articles). Since our interests seem to overlap, perhaps we can collaborate on this effort. Just a few days ago I also started writing an essay in my userspace, User:Protospace/Towards a Canonical Geography of Arda‎, where I hope to catalog the "canonical" geography of obscure locations based on what we do know from Tolkien's writings.
