The Woods of Oromë, dominions of the Vala Oromë, were in Valinor, in the southern part of the land. To the west lay the Pastures of Yavanna while to the east rose the Hyarmentir, and beyond was the narrow land of Avathar.[1]
The Maia Tilion is told to have lived in the woods of Oromë from where he went to Lórien when he would rest.[2]
