Year of the Trees 1085 (abbreviated to Y.T. 1085) is the 1085th year of the Trees in the First Age of Arda. Year of the Trees 1085 was also V.Y. 4585 in Valian Years.
Notable events in this year include:
- Oromë discovers the Elves, and calls them the Eldar. The Eldar are afraid of Oromë, and blame him for Melkor's work.[1]
- Possibly Orcs first created.[2]
