Éothain is a boy of Rohan who was sent to Edoras with his sister. Éothain was invented by Warner Bros. for The Lord of the Rings film series, where he was portrayed by Sam Comery.

History[edit | edit source]

Éothain and his younger sister Freda were sent by their mother Morwen to alert King Théoden that the Wild Men were pillaging through Rohan. Éothain and Freda were kept safe at Edoras until Théoden led his people to Helm's Deep, where they were reunited with their mother.
