Evenstar is the eighth track of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Howard Shore. Named after Arwen Evenstar, it's used as Arwen and Aragorn's theme in The Lord of the Rings film series.[1]

The text was written by Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, with Sindarin translation by David Salo. Solo vocals are performed by Isabel Bayrakdarian.[1]

Evenstar is also featured as a part of One of the Dunedain, the seventh track of disc two on The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers - The Complete Recordings.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

U i vethed...
na i onnad.
Si boe u-dhannathach
Ae u-esteliach nad –
Estelio han –
Estelio veleth.

English translation[edit | edit source]

This is not the end...
It is the beginning.
You cannot falter now
If you trust nothing else
Trust this -
Trust love.
