File talk:John Howe - Mithril.jpg

From Tolkien Gateway

I need a picture or painting of mithril for a project. The problem is, John Howe's image does not fit the following description from LOTR:

"It was close-woven of many rings, as supple almost as linen, cold as ice, and harder than steel. It shone like moonlit silver, and was studded with white gems. With is was a belt of pearl and crystal. . ."
The Lord of the Rings, The Ring goes South

Does anyone else know of any other images of Mithril? --Narfil Palùrfalas 16:38, 24 June 2006 (EDT)
