From what I remember, this artwork was supposed to portray a troll (although I wouldn't bet my life on it!). I'll add the Catgeory:Images of trolls, (the monster is clearly inspired by John Bauer's trolls, in any case). --Morgan 19:17, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
