Talk:Captain of Umbar

The statement that Captain of Umbar was name given to the commander of the fleets of Umbar is speculative. The term Captain of Umbar is not mentioned in LOTR. It is never mentioned in LOTR that this term was used for the commander of the fleets of Umbar. In LOTR in the apppendix in the section about Aragorn II serving the stewards of Gondor and conducting a surprise attack on Umbar the term Captain of the haven is used and it is not said what this Position was and what functions this position had. If an article is retained it should be renamed Captain of the Haven and it should be brief and not contain this speculation. --Akhorahil 12:19, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

I would like to delete this page, because a page called Captain of the Haven already exists. I would like to change all links to Captain of Umbar to link to Captain of the Haven. --Akhorahil 16:17, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
