Anyone knows if this is a "unique" concept in the legendarium, or if there can be a "See also" or even merged with an existing article? --Morgan 08:32, 29 July 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Name[edit source]

I'm confused. The name of this article is Sindanórië with a diaeresis on the letter e, but in the article, the name is written Sindanórie without the diaeresis. I think we should make the article consistent with the title, but I don't know which name is more 'correct'. Thoughts? --Ancalagon the Black 21:33, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Diaeresis is just a style convention for English readers, it doesn't affect to the word at all. TG uses diaeresis at least for all the article names, even if Tolkien didn't include it in the text we are refering to. So, the 'correct' form is the convention we have to include diaeresis, but I would not bother to edit articles expressly for that. --LorenzoCB 21:44, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
