Ty for your kind welcome words...[edit source]
...but I will not be here long knowing his work by heart and not having enough time to be of any use on your wiki. ~ Silverleaf.
I'd also like to reiterate what Silverleaf said. It's a pleasure to be here... and since the Tolkien movies are my main area of expertise/interest, most of my future edits will probably be there. Cheers! BalrogTrainer 02:17, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
Mithilien question[edit source]
I recently started using the Mithilien skin, and I noticed a difference from Cavendish: when I copy a formatted text to the edit window in Mithilien, the text retains its format. Is there an easy way around this (i.e., not having to de-format the text in another place before pasting)? --Morgan 23:35, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- No, it is a fault I haven't yet been able to rectify. However, if you do a "Show Preview" I think it goes away. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 09:04, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Spam accounts[edit source]
Seems like something is too lax in account creation. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 11:14, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- Nothing's too lax, they're just getting cleverer! I've changed the questions, though. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 07:52, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think I've solved it - I just have to change the CAPTCHA questions every now and then. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 17:07, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
John Howe's Email[edit source]
Could you please give me John Howe's email? I want to use his pictures on one website and I need to ask him for the permission. I saw that you wrote to him last year. --User:Mergambldor, User talk:Mergambldor 17:45, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Tweak to Template:Webcite?[edit source]
Sometimes the date when something was published is limited to a month. If I just add, for example, March 2013 in the current field "dated=", it turns up as "01 March 2013" in the article. It's a minor issue, of course, but it gives a false impression of us knowing the exact date. Would it be terribly advanced to make a tweak to the template so it's possible to add a less exact date?--Morgan 11:24, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
