vinge

Vinge is a noun meaning "foam" or "spray" in Quenya, derived from Primitive Elvish wingē. Tolkien vacillated greatly on the form of this word, and so it is also found as winga, vinga, and winge, and with stem form vingi-. It is cognates with gwing in Sindarin.
