Arathorn

Arathorn means either "Eagle King" in Sindarin (from aran "king" and thoron "eagle")1, or "Steadfast King" (from aran "king" and thorn "steadfast")2. It may refer to:
- Arathorn I, twelfth Chieftain of the Dúnedain.
- Arathorn II, fifteenth Chieftain of the Dúnedain and father of King Elessar.
