Comic-Con 2006 featured numerous The Lord of the Rings-related collectibles from various companies. Sideshow Collectibles previewed more statues and busts from their 12", Premium Format, and recently announced Legendary Scale Bust lines. Gentle Giant also just entering the Lord of the Rings collectible scene showcased their animated statues along with a bust and mini bust line. The delays of the NECA Balrog continue and Cinemaquette showcases their Aragorn figure. The convention also featured John Howe: There and Back Again, a documentary on the famed Tolkien illustrator.
