Godfrey Kenton

Godfrey William Kenton (April 13, 1902 - April 27, 1998)[1] was a stage actor, making only rare appearances on big and small screen.[2] He also made three two-year periods with the BBC Drama Repertory Company, the first being in World War II.[1] During the second, in 1955 and 1956, he was cast as Aragorn in Terence Tiller's adaptation of The Lord of the Rings.[3] In the second half, of 1956, he also provided the voice of Mablung.[4]
