The Mounds of Mundburg were where the dead of the Battle of Pelennor Fields were buried by Anduin, at the site of that great battle. The name of the mounds was taken from the Rohirric for nearby Minas Tirith, Mundburg. The battle and the mounds were celebrated in the Song of the Mounds of Mundburg.[1]
