First Age 5 (abbreviated to F.A. 5) is the 5th year of the Sun of the First Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Fingon, with the help of Thorondor, rescues Maedhros from Thangorodrim.[1]
- The feud and hatred between the House of Fëanor and the House of Fingolfin was assuaged.[2]
