I think Ederchil cleaned it up because the style and tone is not appropriate for an encyclopedia/database: the original text was overly detailed, emotional and sentimental and clearly from your point of view. That means, your text fits to a homepage or a personal/project blog, but not for an encyclopedia entry. An encyclopedia contains information, not narratives.

Don't worry about your full writing, it can be found in a past version of the page. For example: [1]. You are free to copy it and use it somewhere else, and let this article contain only the basic points about your project. Thanks for understanding and I hope I helped to clear it up.
