Year edits[edit source]

Hello Melkor81, I just wanted to thank you for all your recent edits, they've really been helping a lot, I didn't realize so many of your years were incorrect, I was just curious which source you are using so I can start double checking what we have as well. Thanks! --Hyarion 11:26, 4 October 2007 (EDT)

I looked and I think he's using The Annals of Aman in Morgoth's Ring. A few dates are confusing/contradicted in later works (see, for instance, the Flight of the Noldor section as opposed to The Shibboleth of Fëanor). I believe I mentioned these Annals in Talk:Timeline. --Narfil Palùrfalas 12:52, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
Hello, I actually used The Annals of Aman in Morgoth's Ring . I know it isn't an "ultimate source" for J.R.R.T works, but it's often the only one. --Melkor81 23.00, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
Hello Melkor, I can't seem to find Maedhros's birth as c. 1234 mentioned in The Annals of Aman, am I missing it or did you find that one somewhere else? Thanks! --Hyarion 15:40, 15 November 2007 (EST)
