Name[edit source]

This article's name has been bothering me for a while. Shouldn't it be better at Urwen Lalaith[former link]? -- Ederchil 04:39, 10 August 2008 (EDT)

Oh, yes. It should. That way it would "stand in line" with her brother and sister. ~~ Þelma 09:26, 10 August 2008 (EDT)
The name's been bothering me, too! Editors seem to be confused as to how to refer to this character, and I don't think calling her both Urwen and Lalaith is really necessary. But I'm not convinced either way: I think we should have the discussion though. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 08:55, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree that this page should be Urwen because Lalaith is just her nickname. There are no pages on this wiki besides this one that has a nickname as the title. Also, in the story, nobody refers to her as Lalaith after she dies, according to Morwen. -- Dour1234, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
It's fine as it is. This conversation was hold when there was other naming convention. --LorenzoCB 08:44, 23 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Despite the conversation being held years back, I think the page should be moved to Urwen because, as I stated previously, Lalaith is just her nickname and there are no pages on this wiki besides this one that has a nickname as the title. Also, in the story, nobody refers to her as Lalaith after she dies, according to Morwen. -- Dour1234, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
Why do you think I disagree? I asked you to stop asking to change article names, and you keep ignoring the naming policy. --LorenzoCB 16:43, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
